Nook e-reader check-out program
The Barnes and Noble NOOK Simple Touch is a portable reading device available for one week check-out from the Lakeview Middle School Library. These devices are the size of a paperback book and are capable of holding hundreds of books. The option to borrow these devices is a privilege which requires special permission for students and the cooperation of parents/guardians. For safety’s sake we are limiting the use of the e-readers to the school library or the student’s home. We particularly do not want students to use them on the bus or on the walk to and from school.
• Complete the NOOK permission slip to check out the device.
• 1 week loan period, 1 week renewal if there are no holds.
• Students may place holds on a device.
• The eBooks on this device are limited to the titles preloaded on it. Other titles cannot be downloaded through OverDrive or Barnes and Noble.
